Captain Cook Bed and Breakfast

The Aloha Guest House is an amazing eco-friendly bed and breakfast. We are located on a 5-acre organic tropical fruit farm 1500 ft. above the Big Island’s South Kona coastline. Our elevation offers spectacular coastal views and a temperate climate of cool nights and warm days. The Aloha Guest House is a traditional bed and breakfast in continuous operation for over twenty years. We have been reviewed by travel publications such as Lonely Planet and Frommer's. Hawaii Island has become inundated with unprofessional and illegal vacation rentals. Rest assured, the Aloha Guest House is a permitted B&B and adheres to the standards set by the Big Island Bed and Breakfast Association. So, don't hesitate to book your reservation. We welcome you to join us. Spectacular sunsets and the beauty and majesty of the Big Island await you at the Aloha Guest House Bed and Breakfast.

Experience the Big Island

Awaken to singing birds as the sun slowly rises over the South Kona coastline. What is fast becoming internationally famous, our fresh, organic, and locally-sourced breakfast is served in our upstairs lanai where you can enjoy nature and ocean views while sharing stories of your adventures with fellow travelers. The Big Island and Captain Cook area are world-renowned for smooth-flavored Kona coffee, and of course, ours is organic, fresh-roasted, and delicious.

Just a few minutes away, you can explore two favorites here in South Kona: Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park (The Place of Refuge) and Kealakekua Bay. Use our free snorkel gear to explore the crystal blue waters of the Pacific where you will encounter vibrantly colored tropical Hawaiian fish, green sea turtles (Honu), and spinner dolphins (Nai’a). We are only 1 1/2 hours from Volcanoes National Park!

E Komo Mai - Welcome

The Aloha Guest House welcomes everyone regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation. The Hawaiian word, Kākou, refers to “all of us” and “we are in this together". This value of inclusiveness is one of the many beautiful aspects of Hawaiian culture.  In true Hawaiian spirit, we enjoy sharing aloha with all our guests.
